DE-VAU-GE celebrates applicant day success
140 visitors at “Summer, Ice & Cool Jobs” – And that’s just the beginning!
Plenty of opportunities and a smile on every face: That is how the applicant day of DE-VAU-GE Gesundkostwerk Deutschland GmbH from Thursday, 20 August 2026, can be described. Around 140 potential new colleagues followed the motto “Summer, Ice Cream & Cool Jobs” to learn about career opportunities and get to know the DE-VAU-GE team.
“We are simply overwhelmed by the response,” Anna-Elisabeth Hinrichs, Personnel Manager of DE-VAU-GE, is pleased to say. “It is a great feeling to see how many people are interested in DE-VAU-GE and share our values.”
The applicant day invited potential new colleagues to exchange ideas directly with employees from the areas of production, logistics, technology and administration with cool drinks and ice cream. A prior application was not required – the focus was on personal contact and getting to know the company. And the ice cream? A special highlight! Visitors could assemble their ice cream with a selection of delicious muesli toppings from DE-VAU-GE themselves – a creative pleasure that sparked a lot of conversation.
“We have tried to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere in which everyone feels welcome,” explains Ms. Hinrichs. “It was about giving an insight into our daily work and answering questions directly on site – and of course, enjoying a delicious ice cream together.”
The day offered not only the opportunity to learn about open positions, but also to experience the company and its values. “We value our people, open communication, and freedom for ideas,” emphasizes Ms. Hinrichs. “That is what our visitors were able to experience firsthand today.”
The future is promising: Regular recruitment days planned!
“The great response to our recruitment day makes us want more.”, says Ms. Hinrichs. The motto for the next applicant day at the end of November will not yet be revealed,” said Ms. Hinrichs.
