Our apprentices <strong>Francesco Stagliano<\/strong> and <strong>Finn Jasper Hennings<\/strong> provided an impressive answer to this question \u2013 and secured <strong>1st place<\/strong> in the <strong>Energy Scout competition<\/strong> organized by the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Braunschweig).<\/p>\n<p>As part of the qualification program, the two developed a project for the utilization of industrial waste heat. The goal: to convert waste heat into electrical energy using a thermoelectric generator composed of multiple peltier elements.<\/p>\n<p>A direct test on a production system was unfortunately not possible due to legal regulations. Therefore, the experiment was conducted in a simulated environment. Using creative methods \u2013 including tea lights and a cooling pad to generate the required temperature difference \u2013 they were able to obtain initial measurements and analyze them effectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the grand closing event on <strong>March 19, 2025<\/strong> in <strong>Wolfsburg<\/strong>, all submitted projects were officially presented, and the most convincing one was awarded. Francesco and Finn Jasper had already presented their project, <em>&#8220;Industrial Waste Heat Utilization,&#8221;<\/em> to the jury in competition with 15 other apprentices from the region. Their contribution stood out due to its innovative spirit, technical understanding, and a clear vision: identify energy losses in production, utilize them efficiently, and thus conserve resources.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t        \t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\"><div class=\"space-medium\">\n    <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">We are proud of our <strong>Energy Scouts<\/strong> and warmly congratulate them on their <strong>1st place win<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>A special thanks goes to everyone involved \u2013 especially to our management and <strong>Dr. K\u00fchl<\/strong> for approving the project, as well as to our entire technical department for their active support in the practical implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We wish our apprentices all the best at the <strong>national award ceremony<\/strong> on <strong>June 17<\/strong> in <strong>Berlin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"space-large\">\n    <\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"First Place for DE-VAU-GE!
