Career Orientation for Young Language Learners: DE-VAU-GE hosts a Career Orientation Day for students.<\/h5>\n
<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

On Tuesday, a special event took place at DE-VAU-GE: a career orientation day for eight language-learning students from BBS1, who have only been learning German for a year and come from various countries. Accompanied by their language teacher and a trainee teacher, they were given an insight into the company and the apprenticeships on offer.<\/p>\n

The group, consisting of students from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Colombia, was warmly welcomed by the commercial training manager, Mrs. Nadine Reincke, and the trainees Justin Angold and Francesco Stagliano. Despite some initial excitement, the curiosity and commitment of all participants was clearly noticeable.<\/p>\n

After a brief welcome, an introductory game took place in which the students introduced themselves and actively participated despite their still fresh knowledge of German. This was followed by a company presentation in which the group was playfully involved again.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

A highlight of the event was the presentation of various apprenticeships by DE-VAU-GE employees. the shift supervisor in production, was particularly impressive with his dynamic and direct manner when he introduced the profession of machine and plant operator. Another apprentice from the technical department introduced the group to the professions of industrial mechanic and mechatronics technician. Despite language barriers, the students showed great interest and asked their own questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, Our IT specialist provided an insight into the fields of system administration and user support, highlighting the many opportunities in the IT sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the company presentation, a job application training session followed. Here, the students were introduced to the job application process in Germany \u2013 from the preparation of application documents to the job interview and self-presentation. The training focused on important aspects such as professional qualifications, personality traits, strengths and weaknesses as well as the necessary motivation to take up an apprenticeship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the event, the students were invited to create their own muesli. They first named the ingredients in their native languages, which caused a lot of amusement, and then assembled their muesli according to their personal preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The career orientation day at DE-VAU-GE Gesundkostwerk Deutschland GmbH was therefore a great success. The students gained valuable insights into various apprenticeships and were supported in their integration process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope that this day left a positive and lasting impression, and that it brought the young students one step closer to their professional future in Germany.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n
